Holiday Wishes 2019

As 2019 comes to a close we hope that everyone is able to be with family and
friends. This year has seen many challenges to the cattle industry and
agribusiness in general. The weather and fires have brought on droughts, pasture
shortages, and the necessity of moving animals for their protection and if that
was not enough there have been bouts of cold weather freezing rain and snow.
Cattle producers are all too familiar with these challenges and respond
accordingly. We all look forward to a good year and hope that the agricultural
market stays in our favor. Many factors are outside of our control but we
continue to hope for the best and prepare for the worse. Our markets are global
and the demand for U.S. Agriculture products are still strong. We will overcome
the short term challenges and be ready for the future as it comes. As the year
ends may everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
